past couple episodes have been great. glad to see hayden getting some love these days. i know nerds had it out for him for the longest. id have to agree with criticisms of ahsoka's character--mostly bland and stoic. im not familiar w/ rebels material so i dunnno if she was always written that way.

The Ahsoka in this series is different from other depictions of the character. She's older and wiser in this show, so she's more stoic.

She's generally depicted as young and quippy in most other depictions.

Her character is well earned however she is. Any self claimed star wars fan questioning that should be questioned as a star wars fan.

This is really good. Rosario is not a rangy actor so all her roles just come off ass cool as chick but it works as a stoic Jedi Master.

Cinematography has the Star Wars magic and it's making me more interested in the plot with Thrawne even tho I haven't watched the animations since it was on Cartoon Network.

Have any of you noticed the Sci fi movie influences in most episodes.


I have noticed in a few episodes.

They lift pages from certain Sci fi and anime tales and movies.
Plus scores.



Like in rhe first episode.

I think Sabine riding on the highway with the speeder bike is a play on.
Dana sterling and Southern cross from the domestic conversion of Robotech/macroscopic.

I also noticed on another episode.

The theme music for every one may lift a previous Sci fi movie soundtrack.

Like one episode.

I am sure is a flash gordon queen score soundtrack moment.


It is a bunch of small callbacks I noticed from this series. Which I notice while viewing and it is dope as hell.
