I DO Not Sow
We don't really have anything to go by to know this. Terrence Howard and Edward Norton weren't well received, and their respective movies success/critical acclaim wasn't hinged on their performance.
RDJ is "Ironman". He made it successful/popular in modern times. Before "Avengers" his movies were the best reviewed and made the most money out of any Marvel film to date.
So they can't be approaching this news with the same "fukk it" attitude as Norton or Howard. Prior to that first movie nobody gave a fukk about "Ironman" in the mainstream, so I'm not sure they want to gamble on how much of that was the character, and how much was RDJ.
Fred.
I didn't mean Marvel was going to have a fukk you attitude per say...... Marvel not dumb, they know RDJ is crucial in the success of their whole movie universe....but lets keep it reality here, if Ironman 4 feature a completely new actor playing Tony Stark, people will give it a chance...simply because Ironman is fukking awesome...comic book characters are all ready established characters with an all ready established fan base
