After tonight, numbers should NOT be considered in the HOF case for Dwight Howard.

The hate for Dwight on this forum border lines on extreme delusion. He's a HOF. We could argue about his skills and impact but he has been the most relevant C in the 21st century. He will get in

The game has changed. The C is not the dominant position on the floor anymore.

Exactly. Dwight's gonna make it. Again, it's the NBA hall. he's done enough for that.

it is kinda low on the Hall totem pole... low key. :mjpls:

Its the Basketball hall of fame. They count everything in your career. High School, College, International, Professional, Olympics, etc. Everything.

Dwight's NBA achievements are enough to get in the hall. Add the olympic gold and he's a lock.

*argument shift* :russ:

Shaq's BEAST years were from 98-2004. Thats when people were calling him most dominant ever, etc. No one was penalizing him for that (and they shouldnt be). So we shouldnt penalize Dwight.
You guys are awful at going back and forth on here. Shaq was already a hall of famer in 1998. he was voted as one of the 50 best players of all time in 1996! He had already helped the magic reach the finals the year before :russ:

TERRIBLE counters :snoop:

And guess what... Dwight Howard has been a HOFer since 2011. You made an awful thread based off one game.

Dude is in the HOF.

Everywhere...You never there.

true. even if it were just the nba he'd still make it. .. it's just more more lenient regardless and he's done enough in just his nba years to get in based on the bhof acceptance history.

Eastside of that Motor
He didnt just lose athleticism

Dude cant bend his body or move laterally really, I mean he moved better on Lakers then he does now

He cant move like this anymore and that was just 2 and half years ago

This. I think this 15 kid having nikka is the most bytchmade of all time, but he had next and injuries took that. I've seen this dude miss more simple alley oops the past two years than anyone else. This was the dude touching 12 feet easy a few years ago too. Penny, B Roy, Rose, Hill, Mac, Amare, Howard :manny:

I could name 20 better centers but I'll do 15.

Kareem
Hakeem
Shaq
Zo
Ewing
Parrish
Moses Malone
Dave Corzine
Ben Wallace
Tree Rollins
Wilt
Russell
Luc Longley
Dikembe Mutombo
Bill Laimbeer

Dwight Coward sucks sick of all these threads caping for this stiff pre back injury he was a beast defensively and that is it. No moves...no jumper...no hooks just put backs. If he was any type of force that team that went to the finals wouldn't of choked. Dude has zero heart and love for the game.
I'm gonna preface this with the fact that I'm no fan of Howard before I go into how stupid this list is. Laimbeer? He was a career role player by and large. Dikembe didn't even average 10 points per game on his career. Longley? What'd he do outside of 96-98, where he was the 3rd or 4th option offensively? Tree Rollins. Really? Dave corzine. Role player center on the 80's Bulls Dave corzine? Robert Parrish never peak on the glass, the scoreboard, or at shot blocking as high as Dwight did yet played in an era where everyone was playing at a breakneck pace. Ben Wallace. Ben fukking Wallace who usually shot around 45% from the field and 50% at the line, front rimming his foul shots and who I don't think ever even averaged 10 points per game? This list is what trying way too hard looks like. You name a bunch of guys who didn't or couldn't score, but leave David Robinson off your list? By the end of it I was half expecting to see Joel Anthony on there.

I can't disagree with the thread starter...

I know the numbers are there but when the defining moment of your career was getting called soft by the nikka that got two pieced by Chris Child's those numbers become highly questionable...

To make matters worse nobody respects him and his dominance was in an era where big men were straight up trash...
