Succession isn't an auto-bid on my list. It's closer to Barry than it is to things like the Wire in my opinon.

Power was every bit as popular as those shows in it's prime, and it was worthy of starting there as a discussion piece. Less people had problems with that than GoT.

Just because something is popular doesnt mean it's quality. TWD would probably be in the elite/pantheon category if we basing a lot of popularity

Succession and Game of Thrones have great seasons, but overall they go in the 'fire' category, True detective and Atlanta should be moved down too, shows with bad seasons shouldn't get to be in that category. Better Call Saul should be moved up, Luther, House of Cards, The Crown & Gomorrah should be added to 'great', Twin Peaks added to fire.

Newsroom, Power, Billions, Top Boy are cult hits that don't belong on any list, of course I love Power and enjoyed newsroom, but the truth is they aren't very good tv.
