I understand but its something that HAS to be addressed at some point. I was listening to the Rickey Smiley Morning Show yesterday and they talked about this for almost the entire show. They purposely refrained from playing their usual trap music cuz of the seriousness of the situation. Why would they do that? Why would they think to not play music of rappers talking bout bussing guns at other blacks. I found it extremely telling

I'm sick of it, but not because of this tragedy. I listen more to Wale, Lupe and cats like that now. It's probably more because I'm in my 30s now and have kids. It just doesn't sound right to me any more. I don't knock the youngins listening to it but I do wonder, what if none of these songs were heard over the airwaves for a year or two.
