I have had no problems with my Sony. And that's after a move and mounting it twice.

LCD or OLED. LGs LCD TVs are not that good. I say that because I had one and returned it one week after purchasing.

Samsung televisions have been getting more expensive while dialling back features. So just be careful if buying one.

4k tvs are fragile as fukk and can over heat you should always have a warranty with them
samsungs have a problem with thermal cracking so switching brands ain't gonna solve your problem if the TV has a defect

I have an oldschool Vizio 42 inch thats been on basically everyday for 13 years

which made me go cop a 65 inch vizio 4k ... some solid solid TVs, I use the 42 inch for a computer monitor now.

My OLED had some burn in for whatever reason and LG literally came in and replaced the whole panel for free within a few days. Right on the spot. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever had honestly.

42 inch yeah a little thick. I paid 200 for it when dell had a Black Friday sale like ten years ago. Colours still look great and no issues I’m actually surprised it still works. As everything I have bought lg (cell phone, fridge) has giving me problems
