portugal left their colonies in the second half of the 20th century, so the euro influence on the language is really strong. it's prettier than in europe, but it's very similar for the most part, especially to the untrained eari'm still reading through the thread but how does African Portuguese compare to Brazilian? id imagine its more similar than to Euro due to the African influence

brazil produces the most portuguese mass media, so the sp/rio dialects have had a big influence over portuguese and african language in the past 30 years, especially because of novelas

That is my point. This is why they choose those places like Jamaica, Brazil, Barbados, D.R. other islands. Majority of black men who have traveled outside of the country usually go to those places. Those places are cheaper. When majority white men travel, they are more likely to go over to Europe and Asia wich is more expensive.
They save up to go to those islands. The black men on here were even talking about it in this very same thread. Go back and read.
