Finally found this thread again.
Think it deserves a bump...

It may be possible to describe rent-seeking or resource capture and export as the main African drivers of economic interaction both internally and externally (especially with the West)
Years ago I didnt wanna believe the OP but now I'm slowly believing it smdh.Think this thread needs to be bumped in light of recent events

Like I said before I don't think its 100% biologically but the fact of many Africans(especially West, Central and Southern Africans) being isolated for much their history. Yea West Africans had contact with Arabs however there was never any hostility. The majority of Africans never faced pressure from an outside group besides other Africans until the slave trade. Yea East African Swahilis had contact with Arabs, Chinese and other groups but it was never hostile and they never faced a crisis(the Arab slave trade that we know came much much later). Only group I can think of were the North African Berbers(yet most their diversity was wiped out after the Carthage wars) and them being conquered many times throughout their history and the Christian Nubia war against the Arabs. Africans as a while never got "chin checked" until slavery, colonization and the Arab slave trade. Meanwhile the Europeans, Chinese(don't even get me started), Arabs, Indians, etc got chin checked by other groups.I can understand not wanting to believe it.
But when you just look at the whole picture....it's the only god damn thing that can explain all of this shyt.
I'm probably mistaken, but throughout history Africa has had a relatively low density in terms of population right? It'll be interesting to see the historical ramifications of the upcoming population boom.
So I said this in 2016. I'd still say that, like @Jesus is my protector said it's a combination of the fact that much of Africa was isolated from the Mediterranean/Silk Road trade routes(thus not truly understanding how other races operated), and the fact that our low population density meant we didn't experience the same stressors that say Asia did(never having to fight for resources and so forth, increase in pop. density). Meaning that until Africa experiences the same stressors that a continent like Asia has these patterns of behaviors won't change
So we have about another hundred or two hundred years left of sell outs ruling Africa

But to be honest I believe many racial groups have a "mental defect" even Europeans(which I wanna address sometime later). But yea this defect is apparent among Black people and it can be dangerous unless we fix it.
