And it's a fair criticism, some Africans (like a lot of immigrants) try to be on some holier than thou shyt and pick and choose what parts of black American culture they fukk with while unwilling to reciprocate. Or the classic "I'm not black, I'm ________" even when they know what the context of "black" means in this country. Especially those who have been abroad (Europe) before, they def know.

It's one thing to say, if you want to fukk with African culture you gotta be about it. It's another to be like "nah, you can't fukk with our culture because you aren't one of us" while you are using parts of black American culture to your advantage. That's some hoe shyt.

Ok...i have had african aamerican diss africans mercilessly...i have three cousins who live in the us. You guguys aren't innocent either.

Some aa are more connected to western countries than africa and do use africa as a prop ratrather than explore what the continent has to offer. So ddont come in here with woe is me attitude as if you guys don't antagonize africans.

African Americans dissing new Africans to the Country is no different than African Americans dissing each other when an African Americans would move from the Country in the South to the Cities in the North. Most of the time it was just light hearted kidding to let the Country person know that life and culture in the Northern cities is much different than life in the Country. Most Southerners in the USA and new people from Africa usually adjust to the new culture and everything is fine.

Africans probably do it to each other to when someone moves from a small village to a large City in Africa. You just poke fun at them to let them know that life is different in the big city and the big cities have different customs and culture.
