The Eritreans liberation font fought against their own ethnic group who happen to be in power in Ethiopia. That not ethnic pride, thats self destruction.
And Yorubas watch other Yorubas die as they line their pockets

Did the Yoruba create their own state even when their own ethnic group was in power in Nigeria and in the process fukking up both the country and the newly independent regions economy, leading to the deaths of millions by famine and war.
It'll be cool if you post pictures of Eritrea too....
Eritrea mostly due isolation and being Single-party presidential republic where president is both the head of state and head of gov. There are no general elections. Relations with the west are slim to none. Forced military service.
Maybe more Eritreans and Ethiopians on thecoli should post more pics on their countries....
Check out a thread I did last year on Eritea's Isolation, it's more complex than that.
you're right but it was in the title so I thought there would be some pics in the OP.
Other than that, this thread got political real quick so pictures won't add much to the conversation anyways
Edit: we fought Amhar people not Tigrinya or Tigre so why would you say that we fought our own ethnic group?
That was just off the top to answer his question... I wasn't looking to get into it like that becuae these type of discussions always deteriorate into endless arguments that end up making everyone involved look foolish.
Can you post the link to the thread?
The shift in the thread it was happy vibes then I got depressed reading about ethnic conflict
I thought the Eritrean government fought the meles zenawis regime which is Tigrinya in the ethio-Eritrea war.
Anyway after reading a few books on the conflict I see the legitimacy of the Eritrean cause. I just find it difficult to understand as someone with tigray, Amhara and harari blood, I've always felt unity was better. Maybe the wounds of the past is too deep to heal.
I'll delete the political comments..this thread shouldn't be about politics.
Are you Habesha?
