Tigers will kill lions 7/10 times especially if we're comparing Siberian Tigers(average 11ft 700lbs) with African Lions(6.5 feet 450lbs-500lbs). Its literally double the size

So its not as if there were brain dead people who put it together, there were people with P.hd's on board...so I dont know where all these commentators go an criticize the team who havent an ounce of studying them or any history of working with either or even seeing a wild tiger and lion. As for the comments, I still dont understand the notion that the tiger is a lone hunter thus more experience, on basic logic this makes no sense. All this goes back to the notion that tigers...are suppose to be bigger.

hypotheticals... now here's a dose of reality

I read those articles and in order for us to really see a showdown between a Male Prime Siberian Tiger vs a Prime African Lion, we would need actual footage not reported cases. We don't know if the Tigers were Juvenile, injured, or of old age. Even though Dave Salmoni, who I respect his opinion, he talking a hypothetical situation. The best way to actually see a Tiger vs a Lion in MODERN time is for us to take a Hungry Prime Lion vs a Hungry Prime Siberian Tiger and place them in an enclosed large enough surrounding. We can't base this argument off old articles because we don't have actual videographic footage.

All in all these are opinions and we need to see live footage in modern time to base off which is better. Needs to be tested at least a large amount of times before we can base it as a fact.
