I think Americans have a different look someone like Lebron, Denzel Washington, and etc don't look like West Africans.
Yes, They look of west african origin but with a twist, if that makes any sense. Many African Americans are a mixture of many different West/ Central African countries and then add that white element and it makes many look different.
There are africans who look like Aframs too but I still think there is a difference.
There are AA's that can pass for African and vice versa, but the vast majority of the time I can tell if some one is AA or not.
There's a noticeable difference between your average African American and your average African IMO.
