Born and raised in Memphis TN so were both of my parents..my pops was born in NYC though cause my grandma was staying up there with her sister for a while.

As far as I know most of my lineage is from down south. My grandma and her side come from Arkansas and my grandad is from the country parts of TN.

I really want to trace back more.

It's nothing like that, the masons (in Montgomery anyway) helped the community with food drives and youth centers before it closed down. My father and brother are in it via Auburn University which is how I was supposed to get in but I went to a college more beneficial for me. Masons really just help each other out and their communities. Honestly we need those lodges back because from what my family tells me they did a lot for the black community from the 60s to early 90s
