African American and Black are not synonymous.

I know that, that doesn't really have anything to do with my comment. I'm talking about someone with a black and white parent, whether that black parent be African American, Haitian American, Jamaican(me), or just plain African.
People with 1 African American parent are African American but can still be biracial, not black.
