What if that tribe doesn't believe in the concept of race, because they never had too.....? seeing someone of the same hue might not mean shyt to them.....

Exactly. Human beings are tribalist by nature; the only reason why American blacks, in particular, rally around the 'black identity' is because they were forced to live with other Africans from different tribes under the cruelest conditions known to man. To an extent, the same could be said for other diasporan blacks, especially those who live in countries where black people are a minority.

Why would someone, who's lived in a majority black country for most if not all of their lives rally under a black identity when almost everyone they've ever encountered in their country is black? All in all, they don't see black people being systematically oppressed by 'the other' (usually white people) on a day-to-day basis so there's no reason to do that. Once they get to the West or to a non-black country, it's a different matter though.

nikkas still in here hurt at the truth :heh:

Now see this is what people don't ever think about. Have you ever considered the idea that in Africa people never really had a concept race only alliances my family and tribe? I think this is something that most people don't consider when they talk about Africa especially black Americans. And this is why I was saying another threat we are so very different understanding of what it means to be black is very very different.

This is such a weak argument yall keep falling back on.

You don't have to adopt the concept of race to be cognizant of it when interacting with foreigners.

Some groups within Africa, in our neck of the woods do equate tribe with race. Sometimes it is intertwine which may be confusing.

Sad responses all over no nuanced arguments blank generalizations. Sounds familiar? I have actually been in Africa the past 2months (Senegal, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Ghana). Some of you idiots haven't been past the corner bodega down your block and have the nerve to engage in these types of complex discussions with generalizations.

You cry about "no nuanced arguments blank generalizations" then post this empty BS lol.

You can have whatever interpretation of race, ethnicity, etc that you want.

When interacting with other groups of people, especially for business, you should be cognizant of the way they interpret society.

C'mon fam. Nations are leaving the EU because Germany gets a lion share of the growth from the union. Has nothing to do with tribes.

As someone who was born and raised in the UK, I can tell you that the biggest reason why so many British people, particularly the English, voted to leave the E.U. was because they wanted to curb E.U. migration. The Syrian refugee situation didn't help things either.

Nah, I had been making post about the imminent collapse of the E.U. since 2013.

It has more to do with Germany's stranglehold on the union (migration being a small piece of that) than any other reason you could list.

Immigration, and national sovereignty, was the biggest reason for why so many British people wanted to leave the E.U. This had been budding from when Poland joined the E.U. in the early 2000's and we experienced a (relatively) large wave of Polish immigrants. Most English people are extremely xenophobic, which is just really an extension of tribalism.

Idk what to say other than this is detached from reality....

The reality is that Germany being the main exporter over the Eurozone made the long term feasibility of the E.U. not viable not no damn immigration lol

"Immigration" only becomes an issue AFTER economic decline and nations like Britain and Greece were going to experience decline with Germany perched atop the E.U.

What does that have to do with anything ? OP wants to invade and act like
an imperialist in sovereign nations but he needs to be practical about this.

We as AAs have the lowest GDP in America.
How are you going to mobilize AAs to Africa ?
How are you going to fund it ? Overcome language barriers ?

You'd have to get AA women to submit and value their blackness
over womanhood. Build companies and communities for future
offspring while lobbying for black policies or forming a black party.

Then and only after that..could you begin looking outward to the diaspora

N!ggaz wanna run to Africa what about the blacks in Brazil and Guyana ? :dame:

AAs have built more in the west for their communities. Africans for the most part cannot surmount the obstacles in their home countries, nor build in the diaspora. If nothing else this thread exposes exactly what Jason Black said: Africans main issue is squabbling with other people who look like themselves.

Immigration has been a big issue in Britain for years, long before the collapse of the pound. Which do you think, out of the following scenarios, that your typical white British working class/unemployed person is going to consider most pressing:
A) Germany taking control of the E.U.
B) Foreigners coming to their backyards, speaking their strange languages and 'stealing' their jobs.

Many of these people only really became aware of scenario A once they encountered scenario B. This is how white people think over here.

If we're also being honest, what are prominent African-American leaders doing besides screaming all day about Russia like Democrat shills?

At least some African leaders are trying to practice group economics (lowering trade barriers between their countries, enhancing infrastructure) and are trying to finesse capital out of the Chinese to do so
:mjpls:
