This post is a reach. Are they suppose to call the organization black? Point is you asked for black people in Africa coming together via politics/business and I gave you a strong example.

NO.

That's a straw man. That's not what i said

Most investment into africa is from outside of africa.

The africans aren't "coming together" as BLACK to engage in politics/business with the outside world

This is weakness.

Having said that, i'm glad they're working together and hope they continue to do so

C'mon fam. Nations are leaving the EU because Germany gets a lion share of the growth from the union. Has nothing to do with tribes.
You know this. I know this. But how they wrapped it up and presented it was in entirely different packaging...

The Yugoslavia war lasted for 100s of years?

Yall can keep trying to find analogues but our condition is unique.
Besides South Sudan, Somalia, Congo[which isn't even really "tribal" related], Nigeria, CAR, Ethiopia, and Mali there aren't any tribal conflicts in Africa.

Botswana, Namibia, Senegal, Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda and Sierra Leone all resolved their "tribal" issues. Not only that but Yugoslavia was experiencing ethnic tensions well before the war. Just face that your theory has some flaws.

Comparing tribalism/ethnicism amongst Europeans to tribalism/ethnicism amongst the Africans and the diaspora is ridiculous when you think about it. They have breathing room to be petty and dysfunctional ...we dont.

How so? What breathing room do Europeans have? In fact, Europe is more densely populated than Africa.

There are multiple Hausa communities, so I'd say there are multiple Hausa tribes.

This is a stretch, I feel.

Where are these multiple Hausa communities? Are you referring to Hausa speakers in West African countries aside from Nigeria?

There are multiple English communities in various countries and yet we don't call the English a "tribe".

This is some lala land shyt :russ:

Not only that but Yugoslavia was experiencing ethnic tensions well before the war.

So you're comparing "tension" over a few decades to decision making that lead to slavery, colonization and the inability to properly form nation states over a span of 100s of years :heh:

The English are a consolidation of multiple recent ethnic groups. The Hausa are not. The English were not tribal after the consolidation so why would we?

Honestly it'd be dope if we talked "Clans" instead of tribes. Tribe is a very colonial term because it referred to communities that were different from the main society., which is what the cacs used to see themselves back then; the main society (never mind that they were a minority and not even native to the land).
