And this is a good thing
If I have 55 employees. It will be 49 when all the law comes into effect :obama3:
And this is a good thing
dont even bother....they're not going to respond to hard economics and numbers. They're just going to regurgitate whatever business owners tell them to think. They'll keep playing good corporate solider, while wealth inequality continues to grow like a hot air balloon. Its just sickening.

Where's the numbers in this response though? No you lack understanding of economics.
Obamacare will hurt the very people they intend to help. What stops a business owner from laying off people and taking a fine?
If that option is cheaper than insuring everyone?
Where's the numbers in this response though?
CrimsonTider seems to be bringing up data to back up his points rather than conjecture you seem to be relying on.
I want to learn all I can, so bring up some data.
Do you really believe it will not cost employers more to implement this crap sandwich?
Even part-time workers have to be insured.:jada:
Read the law yourself, it's in there
Dog....you're just painting a picture rather than providing me with data to back your assertion.
I work for a business around 70 employees, we employ part time people. We're certainly not killing it by any stretch. We dont have a group of executives making serious dough.
No one wants to see layoffs. What happens here, the people that arent "revenue producers"(admins etc..) are the first to get cut because of this new strain. It sucks, but you really dont have much of a choice if health premiums put you in the red.
Its amazing how common sense gets thrown out the window. People dont start businesses because they want to cover employees health insurance. They do it to try and profit.
which numbers do you need? Its common sense.
Smaller businesses who are barely breaking even(economy still stinks) are being forced to provide all of their employees insurance.
So the 50% tax credit Crimson brought up is useless?

your copays were going up before obama care, if obama was never born and never made prez. your premiums and copays would still go up. i still remember my old copay being 15 bucks. i've gone thru clinton, bush, and obama. my copays have gone up with all of them.I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on ObamaCare, but I do know my co-pays have been steadily increasing, and my coverage is tightening.
Not sure if that has more to do with my state's budget going down the toilet, or Obama's legislation.
Most likely both
if you're broke, you can get medicaid.
Obamacare: Is a $2,000 deductible 'affordable?' - Jun. 13, 2013
The poor folks either have to find 2K somewhere in California or take a fine :obama3: I will let you guess which decision they will make...
Liberal Utopia plan will crush and burn infront of our eyes.
Don't say we didn't warn you.
