Why the hell are Simpsons reruns getting such high ratings?

They just moved the reruns from FXX to Freeform after the Disney deal. So it's the first time the reruns have been on basic cable for a while.

That's a better rating than I expected for a Wednesday. They nailed the demographic they were looking for and only showed a portion of the roster. We haven't even gotten to the tag team tournament yet. This bodes well for AEW and TNT.

Can we make this the official AEW ratings thread? I'd like to keep up with this over the next 6 months

What were you expecting? Attitude/Ruthless Aggression era numbers? Do you not realize TV ratings in general, and especially wrestling hasn't seen anything close to that in years? You seem way out of touch with what is successful and what isn't in this day and age. Either that, or this is a pro troll job.

AEW slaughtered NXT despite them putting on a Takeover level show. Nobody actually in touch with current wrestling ratings sees this as anything other than a success. Pull up one article not praising this rating. You can't

Huge debut for AEW. I remember the original talk was around 600k being a successful debut. They done did it.

I'm more intrigued to see where the ratings are at in 3 months time when both shows are settled in.

It's hard though fam, when I stanned the E so hard during the Monday Night Wars, on instinct I want to start hating on AEW, but I can't, cause all of this shyt is just too good - and at 36, I'm too old for this fanboy bs.
