I think it's time for Tony to take that title away (EVP) and let talent stay as talent.
If they want to threaten to leave call their bluff or freeze out their contracts

At the same time, Punk literally said come see me so they came to see him :heh:
Just cause they confronted him afterwards doesn't mean they were looking to or wanted to throw hands
Yeah that's totally what you want to do... Confront a pissed off worker and further escalate the situation.

Nah.... You let him cool off. Handle that situation on the next business day in an organized meeting with Phil.

You do simpleton shyt and you end up getting bit by a grown ass man.

Evps have no business trying to gang on him in his locker room. This isn't WCW shyt.

You talk to his agent and request a sit down meeting immediately on the next business day. That's how you're supposed to handle these situations.

EVPs aren't supposed to act hot headed. Bum rush him like this is a fukking wrestling promo.
Did he or did he not literally tell them to pull up if they have a problem? But now that they did it’s unprofessional. :comeon:

Really think about this...
A lot of wrestling fans will tune in to watch Dynamite tomorrow, but with Tony having to deal with all of the backstage drama instead of writing the episode, will the show be any good?

If a million people tune in to see a crap episode, how poorly will that bode for the following weeks?

the timeline might be wrong but I think the fallout happened when the case was going through the motions in the courts and Colt went backstage to a WWE show during this time to visit some friends and punk lost his shyt over this since wwe was suing them and he thought this was gonna fukk up there defense. Makes sense now with punk saying he was covering the lawyer fees
It's also kinda fukked up for Punk to put Colt in that spot, tbh. Given the imbalance with financial means, he put Colt in an unfavorable position and didn't keep his end of the deal, when from what I read Colt wanted to take the podcast down after he was asked. Didn't they win the case as well, but somehow that case was worth throwing away decades of friendship?

Colt should have gotten a written agreement.

MJF is going to cut a promo. That alone will be worth it

Do you pull up on a pissed off worker... Or do you make him wait to cool off and organize yourself? Have any of y'all actually been in a position of power? The last thing you do is stand Infront of a raging bull employee.

If he gets fired for cause then they can probably get out of paying him the rest of it but then you know Punk’s bytch ass will sue
Punk might have a solid case, too. If his "bosses" were using the press to spread disparaging rumors about him, then Punk could sue for libel and also a hostile work environment.
By the time it's all said & done, Punk could own All Unwashed Wrestling.

I was thinking the same. How do you put on a great show when you’re tied up with legal and making sure no one leaves. That’s what happens when you don’t let people help run the place and micro manage.

Positions of power have never stopped anybody from engaging in backstage fukkery in this industry. Whether they are EVP, CEO, or whatever.
