The booking in AEW hasn't been that great these past couple monthsGotta call it how I see it.... lol
I cut them a lot of slack because it seems that not having access to their foreign talent really screwed things up for them (the Lucha Bros until recently and PAC in particular), but they really need to just start executing their plans regardless of conditions. COVID isn't going to be going away for a while if our government has anything to do with it.

I keep seeing people, namely in the live show threads, saying that certain moments should be held off till crowds come back too. I think that was what someone said in reference to Orange Cassidy beating Jericho this past week, it should be held off till then. I understand the logic, but who knows when live crowds will be able to return, you can’t stifle someone’s progression or feuds for something that won’t happen till maybe next year, and that’s best case scenario too. Nobody wants to have their career defining moments in front of a half empty building, but that’s unfortunately just the way it’s gonna be for a while.

They did fukk up in giving all 3 such high profile feuds right out of the gate, knowing they had to lose said feuds and anything below that would be seen as subpar.
- Brodie should've been feuding with SCU, trying to either recruit Scorpio Sky to build on the subtle tension that had been building on his end with Daniels & Kaz, or recruiting Daniels as his Fallen Angel as someone said and (mercifully) keep Daniels out of a wrestling role and more as the group's Mouthpiece/Spokesman/Figurehead. Allow Brodie to continue building til later this year, THEN he gets a shot down the line after he's firmly established.
- Archer should've feuded with either Dustin or Darby on the way in. Have him MDK everybody on the roster with him figuratively mounting their bodies in front of Cody's locker room, all the while Jake keeps prodding and poking on some "How many more gotta suffer before you realize your destiny, boy?" shyt. THEN after Archer goes too far (Maybe threatens to chokeslam Brandi, maybe puts Arn in the hospital. Maybe both?) Cody finally steps up, we get Cody/Archer at All Out, and they work from there.
- Cage... look. They shouldn't have given him Mox off rip. They PROBABLY could've done the FTW Title bit by saying Tony/Cody/Whoever didn't wanna immediately throw him into the World Title scene even though he's the most physically imposing, most dominant athlete in the game today (Gotta sell that shyt to make it work and I trust Taz to do just that), so they're making their own and willing to give Mox a shot if he's man enough to accept. Continue for a few months, even allowing him to Main Event a big show with the belt, finally getting to a Mox/Cage face off because Cage is tired of waiting for his.

That’s why it was silly to do the Cody title match with that stip vs Jericho then just create a title for him to win . AEW has a lot of the same problems that Wwe has BUT also a bunch of different self inflicted . They need a head booker . They have burned through so many feuds and moments. Especially Cody while generally having the better storylines usually hAs had like 6 blood feuds in a year . There was zero reason to do the mjf turn that earlybased on what Is going on , then top it off with the 7 other blood feuds the man had . Bringing in The inner circle vs elite done Darby lost his big matches ,

Going along with this, what they should do is have Moxley/Cage go to a time limit draw (they promoted that when AEW launched and Cody/Darby Allin & Moxley/Pac both went to time limit draws) after Cage hits his finisher and goes to cover. Cage and Taz flip out, and Cage destroys Moxley post match and takes the AEW belt after. Moxley stays out for a few weeks while Taz cuts promos about how Cage didn't lose and that Moxley escaped via being saved by the bell. Over next few weeks Cage destroys people in his path, including the trademark sonning of Marko Stunt, until Mox comes back.

They hyped up Ricky to the moon, Khan said he signed him because he had a storyline ready for dude immediately.
