No it's not. The TNT title is treated as a big deal. It's the secondary title that was held by Cody, Brodie Lee and Darby. It has never been treated as a joke like how WCW treated it at the end. It's basically a homage to the old NWA TV title, which is synonymous for being the workhorse title. It was defended on almost every television because the guy holding the title was usually one of, if not the best, in-ring performers in the company that wasn't necessarily in the main event picture. Guys like Arn, Tully, Regal, Austin & Steamboat made that title. In fact, the original TNT belt was made to look like the OG title that Arn use to carry with the red leather.
That's the stupid thing about this. WWE literally had a strangehold over the wrestling industry for 20 years. They had/have the largest roster in wrestling. Anyone who has any sort of talent in wrestling was signed to WWE at some point and is a "former WWE guy."

Was your head in the sand between the time Rusev was fed to the InCenarator and Rusev Day (which if it were up to WWE it wouldn't have gotten over but it did so on its own) and from Rusev Day until he got to AEW? There's several years where they did jack shyt with him and his last storyline, since you may have a little amnesia, was a storyline that had him as a controlling sex addict which would have seen him be the butt of ED jokes had the pandemic not forced roster cuts. He hasn't lost a singles match yet in AEW and the only loss he was involved with, Kip Sabian took the pin.
As far as the TNT title, despite what one half of the Two Stooge Power Trip says, the title was created as a suggestion by the network, not for Cody Rhodes' ego. While it was a ridiculous name to begin with (even more ridiculous now that they're going to TBS and supposedly not changing the name), the belt has Main Evented multiple Dynamites and thus far anyone that's held it has been booked strong.

This subforum is built upon criticising and shytting on WWE (and rightfully so). You can go in every other subforum and see people talking about music, films, tv and video games they don't like. But anytime someone dares criticise AEW ya'll are like "stop saying mean things about my favorite wrestling company

I think it's a weak product. I sincerley want to see them succeed but the shyt isn't good. And I'll call it out just as I would any other weak product. Ya'll need to not take this shyt so personally. Ya'll can still enjoy AEW. Not everyone has to like it.

I haven't watched it regularly in about a year. But I'll check in every so often to see if it's got any better or see some clips on twitter and I'll comment on what I see.
