Just to be neutral, the game does have a CAW mode, just a seemingly bare one in comparison to WWE 2K franchise. It’s very clear in the marketing that it exists

Just want this damn game to drop some the New Legacy bowys can fukk it up, the "happy to cop this game" fun fun fun brehs to enjoy it for the weekend, and the fukkery to be turnt until folks realize that this game was overpriced AF for what you getting.

No different from the marsupial copping TNA Impact and just trade that shyt in to get Bioshock (best decision I've done because I love that game )

The purported plan is for it to not be an annual release but for it to be continuously updated and DLCs. Obviously they’d have to release a new game eventually but I could see increased match sizes being in one of the first major updates/DLCs which can add trios matches, B&G, Anarchy in the Arena, etc.
