The more I read in that reddit thread, the LESS interested in the game it's making me. I understand going for the nostalgia of the N64 wrestling games but, that was over twenty years ago. Video games in general, wrestling games in particular, have advanced so much since 2000. This was going to be a day one cop but now I'm probably going to wait a month or two.
I'm not really a gamer anymore so I can wait.
Same here. After the reddit thread, this looks more like a Black Friday purchase. Maybe if the game wasn't being released at full price, I'd buy it sooner. However, I can't justify paying full retail for something that everybody is calling bare bones and incomplete.

I strongly disagree about wrestling games getting better over the last 20 years. Graphics, caw depth, and whatever else? Absolutely. But actual fun, easy to learn but very difficult to master game play? I don't think No Mercy has ever been topped in that aspect.

What does a cac site have to do with this? If they're having reservations about the game then that's a red flag, because reddit was one of the main places constantly hyping the game up. I paid with a gift card so it's not a loss for me, but seeing this news should make everyone pause.

Because they complain about every game. The whole board is nonstop whining.
They had to build this game from the ground up, so is it really surprising some of the CAW stuff isn't there? I remember seeing reports about the CAW stuff being limited like a year back.
That's a 1994 question. Back then, a wrestling game without a creation suite was understandable. In 2023, releasing a wrestling game without a creation suite is a horrible design choice that robs the fans of a now-standard feature.
The devs are selling an incomplete game at full retail and using "it's an arcade game, bro!" as an excuse.
Breh this game REALLY need to be 20 dollars tops:- No mod support
- Barebones "arcadey" experience
- Outdated roster
- Apparently a short story mode
- Only 4 people in the ring
- "Mini games"
Forgive me respectfully, but I don't understand the hype and refuse to fall for it.
Stream sale, keysite it, and keep it bouncing.
This is a shame. because for the 2k games(NBA/WWE) the mods are so good these have become pc purchases 44444 lyfe.
Shame the NBA mods end up having players look like some Attack on Titan shyt online because "mods"
