My guess is they sign a short term extension so Ross can get into 2024. He's said a few times he wants to retire once he's been in the business 50 years.

I think we're going to see a lot of "____ was supposed to happen" because AEW stans are hedging their bets in case this event doesn't deliver.

You can count on one hand the # of AEW PPVs that haven't delivered, and two of those were from within the first 14 months of their existence. People always be doubting and they almost always deliver come PPV time.

I'm not sure JR would go for a once every three month gig with the company. I'm more than fine with JR leaving, I'm just saying that if TK wants to keep him, he'd probably have to come up with a bs backstage/office role so when he's needed for a TV appearence, he can show up.

I guess it depends on what the hell JR wants to do though, if he's fine flying in every once in a while for TV pre tape, that'd be fine by me
