I think they were selectively raising & lowering the microphones throughout the show. An example was the crowd noise being lower when you could hear MJF & Adam Cole's entire conversation post match.
On that same note, I hate the audio on all of AEW's shows. I always have to turn up the volume when watching Dynamite and Collision.
