I listened to the podcast religiously and believe he did it simply based on the interviews that the podcaster did with him while he was in jail. He was so indifferent and cavalier it came across as sociopathic. I'd be hard pressed to believe a man completely innocent of murder and wrongfully imprisoned for 20 years would be so flippant.
Having said that.. enjoy your freedom nikka, because you damn sure going back after the next trial.
How much is an innocent man supposed to protest when all hope is lost? You've been sitting down nearly 2 decades for a crime you didn't commit and are serving a life sentence. He went to prison as a boy and by the time Serial was recorded he was a grown man and hardened inmate.
Everyone thought he was guilty, his own friends testified against him and his appeals were denied. How passionate did you want him to be??
Damn near everybody in that bytch would swear they were innocent so what would be the point in working yourself up and getting emotional with the podcast lady?
Everybody thinks they know how righteously they'd act under certain circumstances but if I was looking at spending the rest of my life in prison for a crime I didn't commit and with no hope of release I know for a fact I'd fold. I'd be the most glib, indifferent mf in there because what's the fukking point otherwise?
