Stay on your side of the fence, my g. You can't come back over and get a plate now.

On the topic of the 3 pt shot the only way I think they could fix it is widen the court so there are no close 3 pts in the corners and by default expand the area people have to drive.

it would balance it out some where there would be more opportunities to drive and you would have to be a legit good 3 pt shooter to get those shots.

You nikkas need to stop parroting other mother fukkers talking points. The grizz don’t play like the Knicks who don’t play like the nuggets who don’t play like kings who don’t play like lakers who don’t play like the bucks who don’t play like the cavs and none of them nikkas collectively play like each other (and I could go on and on).

Instead let’s scapegoat the bulls and hornets and blanket say the entire league takes too many 3s when we could just acknowledge the shytty teams gotta get them hoes up to stay competitive.

If it's not a problem, Adam Silver and the league wouldn't be looking into solving an issue on it.

You can stick your head in the sand all you want. The league's ratings are down in the US (which is important btw) and the shots attempted are abysmal
Who’s sticking their head in the sand now?

When these non shooters stop chucking non-stop holla at me. Yesterday's games were fun.

Why this is so hard to comprehend is nuts.

This is bizarre world this is even an argument.

So

Isiah Thomas
Kevin McHale
Shaq
Alonzo
Barkley
Kenyon Martin
Mark Jackson

Are all wrong about this topic? :mjlol:

Everyone and their mother knows that these guys have a lot of talent -they're not showcasing it by constantly shooting non-stop 3-pointers.

Please don't tell me you actually enjoyed the days of James Harden having sex with the basketball while he chucked a 35 ft 3 with all of his teammates standing around in the corner looking at him :mjlol:

What were different between yesterday's games and the NBA, in general? How were yesterday's games fun and not other games this season? Teams were still chucking 3s yesterday.

It's funny how you've done a 180 after you tried to push your agenda before the games -
This is exactly part of the problem with the NBA- you got the Lakers and Golden State warriors playing each other like this is some sort of high hyped up matchup

Should be Memphis vs Thunder

It's hard to comprehend your position because it's based on bias, double standards and nonsensical scaling.
This is bizarre world this is even an argument.
It sure is, but not for the reasons that you believe.

It's "bizarre world" because you're acting like every era during modern times hasn't been criticized. You're acting like active players weren't shytting on the 90s during what many believe was the "golden era".
So

Isiah Thomas
Kevin McHale
Shaq
Alonzo
Barkley
Kenyon Martin
Mark Jackson

Are all wrong about this topic? :mjlol:
Were Barkley, Bird and Rodman wrong about the 90s calling it a diluted product, saying it wasn't comparable to the eras that came before?

This is such a reductive argument.

That's NOT what they're doing.

This tells me you're not even watching the games. This tells me you're looking at box score stats and/or getting caught up in echo chambers that utter these falsehoods about the game. You admit yesterday's games were fun, but in the next breath you're criticizing the games for not being entertaining because they shoot non-stop 3s, which is a outright contradiction. The 3-pt volume in yesterday's games were no different to the rest of the season.

Can you not see why I'm having a hard time understanding what you're saying when nothing you say is adding up?

The Spurs/Knicks shot a combined 80 threes
The Mavs/T'Wolves shot a combined 75 threes
The Celtics/76ers shot a combined 90 threes
The Warriors/Lakers shot a combined 90 threes
The Nuggets/Suns shot a combined 65 threes.

On average, the Christmas Day games had 80 threes per game.

All the teams yesterday shot relatively the same amount of 3s they have been shooting all season - so, why is it you believe yesteday's games were fun, but then say they're not fun when they're shooting non-stop 3s?

Cats don't even realize they're telling on themselves for admitting yesterday's games were fun, yet they had the same 3-pt volume as all the games, in general, this season.

bu-bu-but the 3s are the problem.

They made them yesterday

But as you know it only avg out to 35 percent. So many 8/38 nights are coming

I think it's OK for viewers to be upset with missed 3s.

when teams miss shots, games look bad.

if you go 8/38 ANYWHERE, it's bad. The assumption NBA fans make is that, well if you just shoot closer, you'll make more of em, right?

The difference is, those shots are 1) more contested and 2) usually not in a catch and shoot rhythm. Also, nobody is gonna draw up a play for you to shoot from the top of the key. Those days are dying.

The Spurs/Knicks shot a combined 37% from 3, didn't the vast majority find that game entertaining? Were viewers upset at all the missed 3s after the game, or was the discourse around it more about how good of a contest it was?

Like I've told you time and time again, missed shots aren't a recent phenomenon. Missed shots and lack of offensive production doesn't seem to matter to y'all when you had Finals games during the 90s with scorelines that would struggle to break 60, 70 points. Missed shots and lack of offensive production didn't seem to matter to y'all when you had active players shytting on the 90s product for being diluted.

Y'all weren't upset when A.I. was missing all those shots when he became an icon.

The overwhelming majority of cats who complain about the 3s aren't even watching the games to begin with. Like all the drama in that thread about the Bulls/Hornets breaking the record for missed 3s, when 99% of posters in that thread didn't even watch the game. Y'all complaining about bad games that you don't even watch, and then use that as a scale to believe that the rest of the league is the same.
