Of course the ATL
Why wouldn't we bring in the best arm available? Saving them?

You could argue Sobotka was the best option in that scenario. I don't have a problem with that decision, at some point the players have to do what their paid to do and that's make pitches and get outs. That meatball to Machado isn't on Snit, that's on Sobotka

Brah this isn't a July game, this is do or die playoff ball. You throw your best arm in that situation. We have to think like that if we gonna win shyt as a franchise.

Here's my thing tho breh: You can't for sure tell me that Teheran was the best arm for that situation. Just because you're a starting pitcher doesn't mean you're better or have better stuff than a reliever. If Teheran was the best option after Folty got pulled then he would've been the next man up, not Venters. At the end of the day I'm not mad at Snit for going with who he trusts and he trusted Sobotka, it didn't work out but I'm not mad that he was in the game

As for this season, :wow: :to:

Probably one of my favorite Braves teams ever, just scrappy, underdog vibe the whole year

My highlights this season:

Watching Acuña grow up
Watching Albies become an All Star
Watching Markakis become an All Star for the first time
MVP Freddie gettin us back to the playoffs
Snit :mjcry:

Touki, Fried, Soroka, Allard the pitching depth is incredible and the future is bright :wow:

Sucks not to be playing on Wednesday but this team will be back. Should be the first Winter Meetings in years where the Braves are actual buyers. Were a couple starting pitchers away from being right where we need to be in the NL

So Julio’s days here have to be numbered right? No starts in the playoffs, he only got garbage time in game 4. Opening day starter isn’t even trusted when it matters.

Honestly, I don’t see any room for him. Touki and Fried are ready to join Folty, Newcomb, and Gaus, and there is a lot of competition in the pipeline. We have to make some moves with all these pitchers.

ATL via Tre 4
Need to try to leverage him for a big bat. I agree there’s no use for him, as he’s not the dominant or #1 starter we need.

Need to use the off-season to get a big bat, and a #1 or #2 starting pitcher. Also need to decide what we’re going to do with the Camargo/Riley situation.

Right. That's what I was telling @Born2BKing when he was asking why Teheran wasn't in the game sooner, the Braves clearly don't trust him in high pressure situations. The fact they went with Sobotka, a rookie, over your opening day starter the past 5 seasons should tell you everything you need to know. Starting pitching could get deep and i honestly think we need 1-2 more proven guys

Folty
Newk
Touki
Allard
Soroka
Fried
Gaussman

They're gonna have to move a couple of those guys to get to a 5 man rotation and Folty, Newk, Gaussman are 3 more or less locks IMO

As for the starting 8:

RF (Do we resign Markakis? I doubt it, but we'll see)

I like the idea of moving Acuña to CF and trading Ender & letting Markakis walk for more power/speed

C: We resigned Flowers to a team friendly deal, but he shouldn't be a starting catcher. Suzuki is a FA, but we need more power there

3B/SS: Let Camargo/Dansby/Austin Riley fight it out, the loser is a super sub off the bench or is trade bait

Bullpen: Bring Kimbrel home, and get reenforcements in the bullpen to support Viz, Minter, Sobotka, Brock

Manager: Bring Snit back

Camargo looking like complete ass in the playoffs didn't help his stock.
