So if someone goes on a stabbing rampage, or runs people over with a truck, how are they going to be stopped?
It's not scared. Moreso the fact these crackaz keep dancing it around it.
It's the only answer at this point.
Other countries have shown that it can be done, but these goofy politicians are so bought and paid for by gun lobbyists that it's pathetic.

Cops outside America manage to handle those situations without shooting everything moving. Obviously we're so entrenched in gun culture there's no easy way out.
But I'm not gonna act like a gun is anything other than to kill. Knives have other purposes.
I'd gladly trade the second amendment for something like right to Healthcare, or right to housing. We could get something, it doesn't have to be zero sum.

A bad work environment can really drive you crazy, especially if after being treated badly, you get fired, and lose your livelihood. That doesn’t mean there’s an excuse to kill people, but having to be in a place you hate in order to make money is mentally and emotionally draining.this is just another reason why people don't want to go back to the office.

Since citizens with guns stop something like 1% of mass killing attacks, I'm pretty sure whatever is stopping the other 99% already will work out for that 1%.
I'm not even in favor of banning guns entirely but the logic that it would somehow lead to a defenseless nation is disproved by reality.
