So AFTER a lone guy with a knife attacks some people and the police shoot him, someone in the university hears the gunshots and in confusion reports, “Active shooter on campus!” and some random person starts a rumor that two shooters are going around messing people up.

And then you have people repeating that and the rumor spreading like wildfire. I ain't blaming ya'all for repeating it...just showing how easily the false report followed by assumption spread.

This is why witness reports always need to be taken with a grain of salt. At least 50% of people involved in these situations lose their effing mind, and half of the other 50% are unreliable at best. Police know that in every single criminal event with a crowd, you end up with at least 3-4 different versions of what went down.


Remember, a ridiculous conspiracy theory blew up around Sandy Hook because of discrepancies in witness accounts. The sheep who repeat that crap close their eyes to the existence of major discrepancies in every shooting/knifing/bombing/whatever ever. First of all, no one needs to tell you how it's wrong to criticize an entire group of people for the actions of one.

Secondly, the only reason Trump is for vetting, and calls mexicans rapists, wants to build a wall, is because Muslim/Latino don't vote republican, so more white people in the country keeps him in power. It has nothing to do with protecting us from mentally ill people stabbing 11 people on a college campus. This is the same reason John Adams passed the Alien & Sedition act in the 1790s to increase the length of time it took to become a citizen to 14 years, because immigrants didn't vote for his party.

Even if vetting did happen, if you want to solve the issue, put more focus on mental illness and support for that shyt. Not letting them into the country only puts the problem onto someone else. The underlying issue would still remain.

He WAS vetted. Every refugee who comes in is vetted. But he wasn't an extremist or violent - how they hell can anyone predict what some random person will do years later? There are 15,000 people killed in violence every year in this country - it's much more a side-effect of being an American - you solve your issues with violence - than a side effect of being Muslim.
