I see a lot of my favorite films being mentioned but they aren't action movies.

If you watch Starship Troopers and leave thinking "what a great action movie" you missed the whole fukking point :stopitslime:

I don't at all view TDK as an action movie, but it's listed on IMDB as 'action' so whatever :upsetfavre:

Somebody actually listed No Country for Old Men as an action movie :heh:

that being said... as strictly action movies:

1. Terminator 2
2. The Rock
3. Die Hard
4. Aliens
5. Predator
6. The Matrix
7. Independence Day
8. The Raid 2
9. Bourne Ultimatum
10. Taken

The Matrix is (Sc-Fi/Action/Drama) although it's primarily sci-fi, I still find it to have top 10 (and game changing) action, thus it deserves a spot on the top 10 action list.

The Dark Knight is (Drama/Superhero/Action). It does not have top 10 action but I think its a better movie than probably anything on that list outside of the Matrix

Also other than the Raid movies, I don't think I've seen any foreign action films. Been meaning to watch Hard Boiled and The Killer

Sorry but I'm not waiting 30 days+ for someone to call out a list containing Marked For Death, Big Trouble in Little China, Total Recall or fukking
Starship Troopers

Not a chance

I love that move but I wouldn't put it on an action list? AM I the only one who makes a distinction between action movies and adventure moves? I consider stuff like Big Trouble in Little China and the Indiana Jones moves to be adventure not action.

I try to do this too, but sometimes the lines blur too much...

Alright, here you go

1) Raiders Of The Lost Ark
2) Die Hard
3) Terminator 2
4) The Wages of Fear
5) The Matrix
6) Jurassic Park
7) The Bourne Supremacy
8) Mission: Impossible
9) Speed
10) The Adventures Of Tintin

:obama:

I feel like The Raid 2 should be on here, but it's too soon for an all-time list, imo

Really think Summer Blockbusters should be next. Only list where Clueless and Empire Strikes Back can logically share the same list. :blessed:

Let's try not to keep it too genre-specific for these things.

On a top 10 Summer Blockbusters of ALL TIME list though? :usurebreh:

Just using it as an example. I just think that great movies like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Jaws," and "Back to the Future" shouldn't be confined to a certain genre.

I agree with you homie, but seeing Clueless on a discussion of top 10 of all time anything had me :scustkobe: Good movie, but nothing more than that
