It's funny how all these black coo--I mean conservatives are pro-Zimmerman, from borderline retards like Jesse Lee Peterson to the high-minded intellectual Sowell.

i think its funny how nobody can rebut what sowell said in the video i posted, because there isnt any rebuttal, everything he said was on point, politics is not the key, developing culture and skills is what is important

as far as his zimmerman column, i dont agree with it but i agree with what he was saying in the video and overall his views just represent intellectual diversity

im not even sure what the zimmerman has to do with this thread...............oh wait i do, according to yall, zimmerman is our half cousin and we should make sure more people come from peru, becuase we all know people from peru cant be racist, only white people are racist, so if we get down with peruvians we will increase our political power and live in a racial paradise :skip:

Thomas Sowell is my dude, but his stance on immigration is off point. Many of his fellow members of the Chicago school don't even agree with his stance. As I have said before, the anti-immigration (or more specifically anti-mexican) argument is theoretically flawed but even the empirical evidence that has come out over the years undermines the argument. But overall African-American's are not obligated to take sides in this debate imo, if you want to make the traditionalist "culture" argument ok(even though it's flawed imo)...if you want to make the alliance/increased Dem power,ok (even though that is also flawed).

Nothing you said applies to my comment, so there's no need for a rebuttal from me.

What do you think about your dude's take on the Zimmerman verdict?

Wow...okay.

did you not read homies sig?

"To many or most white liberals, nonwhite people have become a political prop, essentialized nonentities who are useful only insofar as their interests can be used to shut down debate...At the very least, the notion that any particular argument could not possibly be voiced by women or people of color is the worst kind of condescending liberal essentialism that denies such people personal choice and agency." I could explain why those comments don't apply to my feelings on the matter, but I'm sure you would not comprehend it, or misinterpret it anyway, so I won't bother. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop talking to me. It's tedious trying to rewind your conclusion leaps.
