I'd give flagg the edge but bailey not bad. Bailey was struggling today that in your chest defense gave him trouble and he was forcing stuff.

Its college though, going to the NBA stuff changes. Team and your role can determine your potential.

Still early on both of them. Good luck to both

Flagg is a white boy that really plays def...crashes the glass, challenges shots, rotates from the weakside, gets deflections, moves really well for a player his size

Flagg is so much better defensively, the race for #1 shouldn't be a question...Flagg is an nba level defender, and don't forget he was supposed to be a senior in HS right now

Naw. I can't cosign this and I am a Rutgers fan. Ace has very good to elite offensive tools BUT

-He's more of a finesse player despite his size. He can score at all 3 levels against weaker competition but more physical defenders can frustrate him.

- He is not the defender Cooper Flagg is.

- He needs to be more engaged in losing efforts.

With that said though. He has the makings of a very good if not great player the tools are there.

This is a personal red flag for me with any prospect. Highly touted guys worthy of the hype usually drag their teams into the tourney and near the top of their conference no matter what's around them.

The only guy who didn't and panned out that I can think of is Anthony Edwards. That was also the COVID year. Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons are two notable guys who had a lot of excuses made for them when their college teams were trash.

With Rutgers having two consensus top-five guys, I don't care if Willie Green was their coach, they should be in the mix, not missing the NIT.

Rutgers Men's basketball has been slowly growing for the better part of 20 years. So I would not weigh that too heavily against them.
