I don’t think he was comparing them just giving an example of someone who made difficult shotsEmoni was not great at anything look at the percentages that’s a horrible comp
I wasn't comparing outside of the fact both can hit contested shots. It wasn't a comparison of their games at all.Emoni was not great at anything look at the percentages that’s a horrible comp
Basketball doesn’t work like thisAgain, have you watched them play? I'm guessing not.
Bailey and Harper have been fine. The rest of the team is just bad around them and they can't play any defense, so they're very erratic.
Flag has a lot more skills in the toolbox to make plays whereas Ace tries to brute force everything. There's no way you can watch either of these cats play and come away with the impression Ace is better.
Flagg is simply on another level.
Bailey out there looking meh today
10 points
3/15 shooting
5 boards
(2 assists 1 block 1 steal)
4/6 ft
3 TOs
0/7 from 3
another Loss for Rutgers (trash athletics)
When his 3 point shot isn't falling he seems to check out
Bailey is good, he'll go #2.bringing up bad games. You going on the list
This is a personal red flag for me with any prospect. Highly touted guys worthy of the hype usually drag their teams into the tourney and near the top of their conference no matter what's around them.
The only guy who didn't and panned out that I can think of is Anthony Edwards. That was also the COVID year. Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons are two notable guys who had a lot of excuses made for them when their college teams were trash.
With Rutgers having two consensus top-five guys, I don't care if Willie Green was their coach, they should be in the mix, not missing the NIT.
