Ace Bailey is better than Cooper Flagg

Rutgers 11-10 right now

They got two five star blue chippers. They should be better than 11-10

This is a personal red flag for me with any prospect. Highly touted guys worthy of the hype usually drag their teams into the tourney and near the top of their conference no matter what's around them.

The only guy who didn't and panned out that I can think of is Anthony Edwards. That was also the COVID year. Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons are two notable guys who had a lot of excuses made for them when their college teams were trash.

With Rutgers having two consensus top-five guys, I don't care if Willie Green was their coach, they should be in the mix, not missing the NIT.

If it was Wisconsin or even OSU, I'd say ya something up, but they chose to go play for an assed out program...I don't think it's that damning. Rutgers was only 15-17 last year.

boi, Bailey is 6'10...he's a better prospect. The NBA wouldn't care if he was averaging 5 points less per game playing in the WCC, he'd be getting drafted on potential then. You gotta be objective, you can recognize someone having a great year and acknowledge he's a legit top 2 prospect without it being some diss to Texas.

Tre is nice, but he's had some inconsistent games too. And without a doubt he's not getting drafted before Bailey

Tre 6’6. the league was built on 6’6 nikkas he the best player I’ve seen in a Texas uniform outside of KD and that’s saying a lot. Ion get caught up in all the height shyt that’s how mfs like them French nikkas last year get drafted so high. If he 6’10 he should be dominating even more

I'm not saying Tre won't go on to be better, I'm only saying from a draft perspective, Bailey is the better prospect b/c of height & length, and their product is very similar. NBA fukks up drafting on potential all the time.

I do agree that there's something to be said about empty stats on a team that will be missing the tournament.

Ik breh i understand your points fully lol im just talking hoops. I understand why teams would value Bailey to be 6’10 and as fluid as he looks at times is crazy but like you just said I feel a lot of that be empty stats. It’s easy to me to put up stats on a trash team and I feel that’s why he chose Rutgers he knew he could go there coast and get buckets. While guys like Flagg tre and the guy from Baylor play on competitive teams and don’t get to have as many chances to pop off

I would draft Bailey and Harper before Flagg, tbh

I would also draft Tre Johnson before Flagg if my team needs a guy that can be my #1 option scorer

Jase Richardson projected as a first rounder. We have 2 5*s but one is a freshman and the other is a soph, the soph is a project, he has a lot of work to do. Coen Carr legit might be the best athlete in college, he's just raw, jumper is developing. He's learning how to harness his athleticism. I like our team, good focus on defense, no selfish players. We've had 10 different players be our leading scorer for at least 1 game, so we have depth, but we don't necessarily have a 'go get a bucket' guy, which could be a detriment.

Schedule getting a lot tougher this month, MSU will start dropping road games.
