I been told yall about AB Average Boxer, Against Bums, and Always Bullshytting

The man rode mayweather's name into stardom he did not earn in the ring, he like a typical nikka, he wanted to be Floyd, but he didn't want to learn under him
he saw himself as being on his level out of the gate which is ridiculous because he doesn't even have the pedigree floyd had coming up

He wanted to be his own boss, but he ain't a boss, Robert Easter don't even respect his fight game after that performance you can hear it in his voice when they interviewed him after the fight lmao

If Broner would just stayed in his lane learned under Floyd he would be a way better fighter than he is now, but now that ship has sailed, he a gate keeper status

when you need a good win for your fighter, send them to AB to get that easy W

He ain't never fell off, he always been in the same fighting, he never throws any punches until last rounds, he hasn't had an exciting fight since gavin rees

Broner never was shyt breh, he been taking gifts since his 135 days vs B class at best fighters; outside of that he was a weight bully; when he started fighting nikkas his size you see the C level fighter that he is...Floyd couldnt help him a nikka that has Paulie problems, Floyd dimensions and intangibles made Floyd Floyd

Another Gold Medal
Gotta give Broner fans credit. Went from

- young prospect
- next Floyd
- 4x champ
- tough win " learning lesson" vs Paulie
- took ass kicking wakeup call to Maidana
- listless wins vs C-level comp
- lifeless showing vs Porter
- more C-level comp
- ass kicking by Garica

To 3rd best at 140!! Mixed in with jail, not giving a shyt, weight issues and generally not giving a fukk. But it's still great to be a fan and he'll turn it around :stopitslime:

Ab is done though, he eithers sit on the shelf and prays for a Manny stimulus package or move up and face Victor Ortiz or Rios and possibly get koed......I cant think of no top 5 fighters from 140-147 he beats

Mikey fat ass needs to move down as well; all talent, Im not sure he puts the work in, he shouldve koed Broner by 8 IMO; due to the gap in skillset...I do know Crawford aint gonna hesitate to touch that body outside of that he doesnt lose at 140; that body fears me, nikka look like he had like 3 c sections out there........If Mikey put in the work I think he's a easy top WW; I could see him beat the likes of a Thurman, Pacquaio, Horn, Brooks of the world......He'll struggle with the likes of Swift and Porter of the world; Im not sure how he deals with constant pressure and off tape he could be countered in the middle of the ring, when slugging, Broner did once or twice by mistake lol

I still disagree with the Mikey should have KO'd Broner. Broner has a very good chin. Maidana was a proven big puncher at 147 and caught Broner with better shots than Mikey. The way I viewed Maidana and Mikey vs. Broner - Maidana landed the more powerful and damaging shots, but Mikey actually outboxed him better. Mikey beat Broner on a point system far more decisively and Maidana fought a closer fight but did far more physical damage.

Floyd has turned tank into a real fighter, by working closely with him, he wouldn't be as good as he is now

Broner was never gonna be a floyd level hall time great, but he could've been ppv star if he stayed in his lane

This is what I've been saying since the porter fight, it's the only reason why fighters don't let there hands go.

ehh...it not so cut and dry mentally. he's in there, he knows he will get hit, knows he is risking his life. its the style that he was raised on. stylistically and strategically he doesnt want to get hit period. when he sat down, he took some blows. also his skill doesnt allow him to do certain things.

its a difference between not wanting to get hit and not wanting to get hurt.

its a difference between having the mentality that no one in the world can hurt you and no one in the world can beat you.

My take away from this fight is that Broner is worst than i thought he was. I get all the praise Mikey is getting in here but honestly Broner just didn't throw enough for me to truly gauge how good he looked moving up. The couple times Broner bullied him late in the fight it was effective as hell as far as I could see. I think if broner just tried that bully fight in a phone booth style with his inside upper cuts it would have been WAY closer and maybe he could have even won. I think Broner is ONLY in it for the money at this point. For all the Floyd be running stuff people bring up he sat in the pocket AFTER being rocked by Mosley and had a few earlier classics against Emmanual Augustus and Corrales where he showed a lot of heart. Broner just hasn't shown that since the Maidana fight imo. So we can't even say he fighting like Floyd at this point

Broner has one major hole in his game....he can't fight going backwards. He "flourished" when he was bigger than the 130-135 pounders and walked them down. Once he got in there with fighters his own size and forced him to go backwards, his whole offense goes on mute.

This past Saturday highlighted something more than that tho....he's legit scared to get hit again. He's one of these cats who got his self worth tied into what he is in the ring. He's someone who wants to be rich via fighting versus being someone who wants to be a fighter that gets rich. Spence is the perfect example of someone who wants to be a fighter that gets rich. And people only see Floyd now, but Floyd was the same way in his younger days. He's a fighter first. Broner don't love the sport....just what the sport can afford him.
