Instant Vintage, that's my shyt right there
. Not only is it classic, it belongs in my personal collection of best albums point blank. Think it's criminally underrated, sounded like nothing out at the time. His use of instruments on that album, the production, man it was dope and he kept everything so pure. You can apply that last sentence to this album also.
I agree Til Its Done and The Door definitely sound like something from instant vintage. Just imagine, the track People from Instant Vintage but with D'Angelo over it ..... would fit perfectly on this album. Such a powerful track and the message is still relevant
today.
Anyway, this album is f*ckin dope. I'm so dam happy
Theres a few albums i've liked a lot this year, but this without doubt is the album of the year for me.
