Abortion after six weeks effectively banned in Texas; SCOTUS by 5-4 vote doesn't overturn law

How fast will this law spread to other states?

While I don't approve of what Texas has done. I can't say I give a damn.

As per usual many bleeding hearts on thecoli fail to understand a fundamental axiom - Prevention is better than cure.

It would be wiser to instruct women to close their legs and/or use the multiple female contraceptive measures that are available than to have abortions. Btw abortions are actually worse for a woman's mental health than having actually going to term with an unwanted child, miscarriages and giving a baby up for adoption.
The abortion and mental health controversy: A comprehensive literature review of common ground agreements, disagreements, actionable recommendations, and research opportunities

Oh and if still believe that having children makes you poorer then... I have a bridge to sell you.

Do you think a man that has $50 million and 10 children is poorer than a man that has 0 children yet only has two pennies to rub together!?
“David C. Reardon is an American electrical engineer and anti-abortion activist. He is the founder of the Elliot Institute, an anti-abortion advocacy group, and the author of a number of articles and books on abortion and mental health“

Y’all trip me out, nice try tho:mjlol:

Its gonna happen. Apparently a lot sooner than expected. Sit back and watch.

Just a month ago, no one thought you'd be able to open carry in a US state.. with no license, or any training.. felon or not. Yet here we are.
We used to have that right in California and it was taken away after the black Panthers open carried in the state capital, among other places.

They don’t believe in sex education either. So now we have a double whammy.
True enough. However, I believe this reasoning is becoming a copout. While I do believe in sex-ed, there does come a time when parents have to teach their children about sex and for grown women to do their own damn research on female contraception. I suggest using Google for types of female contraception

And it’s not about whether or not it fukks with there mental. It’s choice being taken away.
I believe in informed choices especially when it comes to human health, physical and mental. We are given the risks when it comes to operations. Lets do the same for abortion.

Or maybe we realize that this effects us and not just the people who carry the baby…

It isn't your body bro, it doesn't effect you at all... I mean that's what men have been told for years why veer off that path now. :hubie:

Like I said I'm pro choice, I don't believe in obstructing peoples lives... I also don't believe in fighting a battle where the group of people I'm fighting for have clearly told me my opinion does not matter and is unwanted. This is women's fight, let them fight it; it will make them stronger in the long run. :manny:

The “pregnancy” doesn’t affect you but the child has lifelong implications for you. When more black men get financially strangled from kids they can’t afford which will continue to hold us down as economically viable people then maybe you will get the picture.

This is a fight for both would be parents. I would guess the vast majority of abortions are mutually agreed upon in the first place.

Well parents aren’t teaching them. And students are with their teachers longer than they are their own parents. They’re at an environment where they learn. They should be learning about what their bodies are going through with both entities.

And if you believe informed choices you would understand the strain a unplanned child has in a persons health physical and mental as well as the monetary stress they produce. So based on your initial message I don’t believe you actually believe in people making informed decisions.

Texas citizen here with a minor correction.

As of June 16, 2021, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota (residents only; concealed carry only), Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee (handguns only), Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming do not require a permit to carry a loaded concealed firearm for any person of age who is not prohibited from owning a firearm. Permitless carry in North Dakota is applicable to residents only; nonresidents must have a permit to carry a handgun concealed or openly. Permitless concealed carry in Mississippi only covers certain manners of carrying. Permitless carry in Oklahoma applies to both residents and nonresidents 21+ as well as 18+ nonresidents who can carry without a permit in their home state. All aforementioned jurisdictions do not require a permit to openly carry either except for North Dakota and certain localities in Missouri.

So not having kids and decreasing the population is the answer to this? Bruh there are so many other reasons that the blame for that should be put before you blame that on the kids man. Like I said y'all come off selfish and sociopathic to me. :hubie:

What was the minor correction? If it's felons being able to carry.. I know that in Florida, if you're ever convicted of a felony, you can never legally carry. Because you're not allowed to own a firearm, and you'll never be able to get a license. Even if you're civil rights have been restored. (Im not sure thats what you were getting at. Dont think i was tryna be a dikk)

@Mowgli is a perfect example of what I mean when I say these Religious losers are batshyt insane and can’t be reasoned with. Allowing grown folks that believe in fairy tales to make decisions for millions is a big fukking mistake

Both sides are stupid and don’t want to have honest conversations. Calling a fetus a clump of cells is equally dumb.
