Abortion after six weeks effectively banned in Texas; SCOTUS by 5-4 vote doesn't overturn law

How fast will this law spread to other states?

This. Gotta roll my eyes everytime folks complain about Texas & Flordia, yet everyone trying to move down to these states.

People are flocking to the Democratic areas of both states, and the same is true for Georgia and Arizona.

Nobody is moving to the rural ass backwards area of these states.
And eventually, the urban centers will have enough votes to put people in power to get rid of the dumbass laws.
Its just a matter of time.

There are still choosing to move to red states when they easily could've chosen to move to another blue state, there's reasons for that. Democrat policies obviously aren't working in the states they chose to leave.

This is a stupid fukking conspiracy argument. If you wanted to cut the black birth rate, all you’d have to do is offer a one time $20k payment to poor and unwed mothers in exchange for a tubil ligation. Eugenicists could make an argument that the resulting social costs that would be eradicated are lower than the upfront costs of the payments. Having access to abortion is not immediately impactful on birth rates.

True or false did the 20 million abortions since the early 70s slow don’t the black population or not?

Who knows. Unless a woman has an absurd amount of abortions, it’s not as if she can’t just have additional children to replace the fetuses that were aborted. I’m sure abortion aided in lowering the black birth rate but I don’t think it’s as impactful as people think it is.

Also, who’s to say these women wouldn’t have sought abortions when they were illegal? Back alley abortions were very prevalent pre Roe. They were as easy to get as buying weed pre legalization in Colorado or buying a hooker anywhere in America not in Nevada.

apparently 20-25% of pregnancies ended in abortion pre roe. That’s literally the same estimated percentage today.
