I like that they've given Ava scenes this season that show that in her heart, she actually cares about the kids.

Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tyler James Williams are Vets, they have the “overdue” narrative. Quinta Brunson is the show’s auteur so of COURSE she’ll get rewarded.

Exactly. She's a terrible principal. But she's when she sees the opportunity to play Big Sister she's all in.
The fact that they didn't come to her FIRST for the fundraiser when she's shown time and time again that she knows how to make people fall in love with her ideas is crazy.
She actually should be a charter principal.
