The "anoint guys immediately after a few hot seasons" has permeated modern sports and I hate it. If Mahomes wins a 2nd title, it wouldn't put him in GOAT territory yet. What it would be is 2 chips in his first 4 years, 2 in 3 years as a starter, the exact same thing Brady did, and it would add more validation to the idea he can finish his career as one of the best ever...

Rodgers played a cleaner game than Brady, but if you saw that game they played to a draw. Brady had the biggest plays, multiple of them, easily. The picks is what draws it back to a draw, otherwise we'd be talking about how badly Rodgers was outplayed...

I can't see how watching the game anybody says Rodgers outplayed Brady more than minimally at best...

So that said, nothing that transpired in this game coulda changed how I compare the two. Rodgers coulda went and threw 7 TDs and GD won 55-3 and it wouldn't have changed shyt. Brady has a 20-year career of evidence of who he is. They arent even close to being in the same conversation...

That first half was “eh” from Rodgers.

Brady helped him out by throwing 3 picks in the 2nd half.

Both players ended the day with 3 TD’s while Tom threw 2 more picks. Tom was rolling in the first half, Rodgers finally strung it together in the 2nd half. Both players made suspect throws and bad decisions. Their completion percentages were even, and Rodgers had more yardage.

Rodgers is a top 5 QB all time. He had seasons where he was better than Brady. But overall, I don’t see the argument where he’s a better QB all time than Brady. Ppl wanna talk about the weapons Tom has NOW, as if he didn’t spend years in New England putting up HoF numbers with 5’8 Cac receivers and journeymen level weapons. He had one year of Randy Moss and that offense and they went 18-1 and lost against an all time great NY Giants defensive front. I think a lot of this stems from Patriots hatred. The Brady disrespect is incredible.
