Say this again. Guy is completely unproven
He's a lot more proven than someone who's barely played any competitive basketball in the last two years.
That will be his initial role, as he grows as a player his role will expand.
Expand into what? How will this expanded role come to be? What will his role be in the playoffs next season?

Y'all nikkas keep talking up all this upside that Wiseman has, yet you keep tapering this shyt with him setting picks and rolling to the rim. Is that all y'all hope he can provide over the next 1-2 years?

What does this have to do with the Warriors?

All you're basically saying here is Wiseman has more upside than Deni, which isn't really the argument. This is about who can help maximize this team's closing championship window. That player needs to be versatile, play without the ball, can shoot, experienced, and can play within a motion offense.

You can't see the forest for the trees.
Nope. Answer the question. I notice whenever you get caught in logic you resort to these vague one-liners cause you cant admit fault. Answer the question.

He'll eventually be our David Robinson.
When is this going to occur? 3-4 years from now when this core's championship window is closed? What good is that?

Did you hear what Wiseman said if he get drafted to The Warriors?

He said he's coming in to rebound, block shots, run the floor he ain't worrying about that other shyt

He's going to get his points easily

He know his role, he going to come in do what we need him to do with no pressure and his game get to grow naturally

You doing too much

Check mate.
The very fact that the player who they draft isn't going to play a "huge role" and is going to be a "4th option at best" is all the more reason why upside doesn't mean a cotdamn thing in this context. The Warriors aren't drafting for a player to build around, which is why Wiseman's potential is irrelevant. Who they draft should be prioritized on who helps them win right now, which would be a player who fits the description of the strengths of this Warriors offense.

So yes, it does matter if they're using the #2 pick on someone who's only going to be setting picks and rolling to the rim next season.

Myers already said they not drafting just for this year cause ain't no rookie gonna help you that much in the playoffs. Especially when the season starts in a month.

Contrary to popular belief big men are the most useful early because they can exploit their size and athleticism for advantages.

Wings, unless they're elite, take longer to develop and so do guards.

Every scout and person who's studied Wiseman says his floor is Deandre Jordan or Myles Turner. Didn't you nikkas wanna trade for Myles Turner not even a month ago?

Didn't y'all want Mitchell Robinson, whose foul rate is insane, in any trade with the knicks?

Deandre Jordan avg 8/10 last season and he's washed making 10 mill a year. Jarret Allen started and was 11/10. Neither have Wisemans raw talent or upside. Would you not take that for 8 mill a year?

You keep acting like they need another star for them to win a chip and they don't. They need viable starters and depth. Wiseman give them both without having to use their other assets.

If there was even a Cam Reddish in this draft then I'd agree with you on the whole wing>big thing but there's not.

The stan in me will be drinking the koolaid no matter who we pick up tonight, im really just hoping we land Oubre once this draft is out the way.

I'm thinking/hoping the Warriors have a deal in place to maybe take his contract from the Suns/Thunder deal in return for a pick:patrice:
