I'm ok with that. They need to ensure that bridge to the next generation. If they trade Wiggins, Wiseman and 2 picks or 1 pick, then you still have to replace Wiggins production on both ends, Wisemans potential and find a way to get in young talent. Or they can fall off a cliff in 4 years and then we'll be bytching that the front office had no vision while we tank for 3 or 4 years straight

I mean, that's fine if you're of the opinion that the next generation should be prioritized.

What assets do you think the Warriors can get for Steph, Draymond and Klay in return? No time like the present to start building for the future.

I think they are making a mistake by not looking at Siakam

I agree. I think Siakim fits in really well. We’ve all seen how effective he is when he doesn’t have to be the #1 option.

You could get a lot of assets for them but then we are in the same boat of tanking for a few years (if the return was that young). If the guys that come back in return are solid veterans and good players, then they would likely achieve close to what this core can already achieve.

So my thoughts are.. this team had the 7th seed last year with no Klay, and with Poole being trash for half a year. Build the roster out and push to be in the mix, be competitive. They'll still have a chance to be really good as it is, and then if they picked right, the young talent will be maturing as the old core fades out.

The other option is to play this year out.. and reevaluate. Then you have Wiggins as an expired that could be a better trading chip than he is currently.

He seemed much more decisive when he came back from the G League, which I think was the point. He was doing a little too much with the ball.

That said, Poole looked incredible in the 2 games he just played at Crossover...the spinmove is back in the bag...

I'm excited for Poole, I think he's going to take off.. the play that did it for me was when he made that quick move and went to dunk on LeBron in the play in.

Poole wasn’t trash. Kerr was giving Bad Wannamaker minutes over him

naw you right it definitely only helped him if it was also to show what he was capable of doing to the coaching staff

Assume that when u have two picks in one of the deepest drafts of the past 20 years. It’s up to management to select correctly.
