I don't know what starting has to do with it, especially since no rookie will be starting over Steph-Klay-Wiggins-Draymond. It should be whoever gives this team the best chance of winning this upcoming season, and that easily can be someone who comes off the bench but plays 25+ minutes, and plays the 2-3 or 3-4, allowing the Warriors to run with different types of lineups. You can't do that with Wiseman. It's hard to see any scenario where Wiseman is averaging 25+ minutes in his rookie season on this team.We got a top 2 pick....if we draft a mufukka that can't start on day one Deni not even dominating in Europe.
I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to waste a top-2 pick on JaVale.I mean I’d rather have javale than hezonja anyday
I think the most realistic expectation for Wiseman is JaVale in the first 1-2 seasons, which is why I keep saying it doesn't make sense to draft him, when he won't scratch the surface of whatever player he'll become until Year 3-4 (unless he gets fast-tracked, which isn't happening on this team). And that's simply far too late for this core.I honestly think Wiseman at his WORST is Javale which isn't bad when you consider how dominant Javale looked at times in our offense
If Deni isn't a knockdown shooter or above average defender how can he help us sooner than Wiseman?I don't know what starting has to do with it, especially since no rookie will be starting over Steph-Klay-Wiggins-Draymond. Playing in the Euroleague/IPBL is entirely different for young cats, who typically don't get the minutes to dominate or put up big stats. It's more team-orientated than individual-based.

His versatility is more valuable than what Wiseman will provide in the next 1-2 seasons. He's basically a Euro Ben Simmons, who can shoot, but doesn't have the next-level athleticism. And look, I'm not saying Deni is the answer - I'm just saying that he's the type of player that Warriors need in the now.If Deni isn't a knockdown shooter or above average defender how can he help us sooner than Wiseman?
He can dribble to the top of the key and create for Steph and Klay while not being guarded. That works so well on our team. Look at Draymond and remember last years finals when Klay got hurt? Steph got so much offense from those "playmakers".If Deni isn't a knockdown shooter or above average defender how can he help us sooner than Wiseman?
If it looks like Miami with Bam surrounded by better shootersImagine the floor spacing with Wiseman, Dray and Wiggins.....
You mean if it looks like Bam and shooters, which is essentially what the Warriors had with Draymond and shooters? What do you think happens to the spacing if the Warriors add another non-shooting threat into the equation? If it looks like Miami with Bam surrounded by better shooters
Deni is a non-shooting threat tho. I'm more worried about rim protection and rebounding than I am shooting. I think Poole will be a better shooter next season than anyone going top 10 in this draft. You mean if it looks like Bam and shooters, which is essentially what the Warriors had with Draymond and shooters? Well at least Wiggins isn’t in the dray territory of terrible from the outsideImagine the floor spacing with Wiseman, Dray and Wiggins.....
Wiggins got as many 40 point games as Kawhi does at 8. A 3 level scorer who ain't afraid to shoot that thang is exactly what the dubs needed.Well at least Wiggins isn’t in the dray territory of terrible from the outside
lol Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Dray, Wiseman
is almost as good as Curry, Klay, Barnes, Dray, Bogut
the only thing lacking is the playmaking from Bogut
