There's absolutely no point trading Draymond unless they're going to get someone that is a younger version of him. Draymond's reluctance and inability to shoot does hinder the offense, but his playmaking, ability to run the offense, feed the hot-hand, familiarity with the system and the invaluable chemistry he has with Steph is virtually irreplaceable. Warriors do need more firepower, but not at the expense of trading Draymond, not unless it's for someone like Ben Simmons, who can be that type of player (do not take this as if I'm saying Draymond for Ben is a realistic trade scenario).Friedell was on Lowe's podcast and they talked for a while about how Draymond's killing their offense and spacing. Adding Wiseman and Looney next to Draymond makes it even worse so it makes running a bunch of Steph pick and rolls difficult because nobody respects Draymond enough to stick by him. They have to explore trading him in the summer. Steph needs more firepower around him. He's already turning water into wine but they're doing him a tremendous disservice.
They also talked about Kerr saying he wasn't chasing wins this season (and his refusal to play Steph more in close games in the 4th) plus Draymond saying he wasn't motivated by the 7-10 play-in games and the effect that could have on the young guys on the roster.
Again, another reason why it made no sense to draft Wiseman (I remember arguing with you about this too); drafting him went against everything about this squad. I seriously can't believe how many folks could not see all this shyt coming.
