I listened to this interview from this morning to see if I could tell who Myers liked in the draft...to save y'all time he sounds like he wants a player that can defend the perimeter that is also skilled.

He said these days teams aren't looking for low post players that can only defend the paint since defending the perimeter is so important these days. Don't know how they view Wiseman tho

There's like 2 maybe 3 wing players that could actually contribute next year and none of them are capable of closing or guarding NBA wings consistently except maybe Okoro:mjlol:

Draft role players instead of the player most likely to be a star at number 2 brehs

Warriors shytty drafting continues this year:francis:

Wiseman will have to prove he can stay on the court to be a star. His lateral quickness is one of his weaknesses, and as we all know, if you're a big man who can't defend the PNR and out on the perimeter, your value only goes so far in today's NBA.

I think they'll make the right move and draft Wiseman...until proven otherwise I'm going with logic until they prove otherwise on draft night.

He’s way more athletic then a guy like gobert who makes no effort on pnr.

It's funny cause alot of Warriors fans wanna trade for Embiid when he's

1)Injury prone
2)Slow
3)Takes too many 3's
4)Is lazy
5)Has no lateral ability

But because he's a "star" they ignore all of that.

Meanwhile people gotta be talked into a freakishly athletic rim runner who has floor spacing potential :francis:

It’s either gobert, drummond or Embiid and none of them make a effort on defense outside the key

Embiid is by no means perfect, but cotdamn, nobody in their right mind would try to justify what he'd bring to this team right now, and think an unproven 19-year-old could even come close to replicating. Steph and Embiid together would be straight up unfair, probably even more so than the Steph/KD partnership.

I know y'all desperately want Wiseman to be the Second Coming, but this is getting ridiculous now.

they were literally argueing this shyt the other day on the radio in the bay. nikkas want embiid lumbering ass but will in that same breathe say Wiseman aint nimble enough on his feet. Im literally hoping this isnt a draft where Warriors try to out think themselves and just take whats in fukkin front of them

I knew you were on crack smh

The Warriors entire system is based on pace and space. The idea that Embiid who is constantly injured or out of shape is suddenly gonna come to the Warriors and correct those things is asinine. How you comfortable committing 30+ million to a big man whose ball dominant and that would require giving up your starting SF and at least 2 lottery picks to get him instead of keeping those picks, Wiggins, and giving the 19 yr old 10 million a year to be a 5th option?

Say what you want about Wiggins but he's a career 20 ppg and has never played less than 70 games in a full season.

Call me when Embiid does that ONCE:unimpressed:
