I knew I'd get called out for that. Let me rephrase, we were up on it cause it was our parents music but we didn't really listen to it. The kids are actually listening to it.
I think I get what you are saying I graduated 2007 and we did listen to new jack swing and 90s R&B but we didn't listen to 70s and 60s classics sure when knew the words because our parents and grandparents listen to it but we didn't go out our way and play it like we did 90s R&B

my Bluetooth wasn't working so I turned on the radio for the first time in years and three stations all played either 2000s rap or 90s r&b at time same time these wasn't throwback radio stations wgci,power 92 and b96 out here in Chicago stations that never played "throwbacks" when I was a kid hell b96 barley played black artists when I was a kid new music is so fukking trash that even radio stations are now playing older music :dead:
