Man, that sucks. Hope things work out for you.

But I think you're missing the point...the drug laws are obviously not written in explicit racial terms...their application however is the problem. The end result is very skewed to say the least.

:ohhh::blessed: racksonracksonracksss

Was that all profit though?

Yes that was all profit. I was the type of dealer to go to where drugs were cheap and go to a place that didn't have em so I'd bank. Some people stay in their own city but you can only make so much. If you go to the source and bring it to the middle of nowhere that's how you get paid. Again I had a massive dope habit though.
For some reason slanging is something I'm good at, just need to focus that in a legal direction is all. When I was arrested on my 18th bday they siezed my car 46,320$ cash, and 10 Krugerrands. Not trying to glorify the selling aspect but since you asked.

exorbitant legal fees
Again I wasn't saying I've had a harder time than minorities only that I've gone through certain experiences that minorities go through even tho they get pinched at a much higher rate. And I know what it's like to not have a voice since I was arrested on my 18th bday ffa so i have no rights..... Florida is one of three states that has lifetime denial of civil rights for certain crimes even non violent. That's why I'm moving to Chicago, here I make 20,000 a year, there I've already set up a corporate job at 50,000 starting salary. Florida does really shyt on their felons more than any other state (not an excuse just saying facts).
This was to help show others how drugs effect all aspects of ones life and to maybe reach out to someone going through hard times cause its really lonely when you feel a drug is your only Friend in life.

It is a class issue, it just so happens that minorities make up the majority of the poor, to deny that the govt picks on the defenseless and just blacks is ridiculous. Again I was saying the govts new way of being racist is to fukk the poor, but blacks arentbthe only poor ppl.

No worries, I'm not going to argue with you that this country caters to the whims of the wealthy. Check the Citizens United ruling for the proof. And I agree to strip a rehabilitated person of their rights to participate in the civil discourse is a bullsh*t policy. Im just saying that classicist issues in this country do have a racial element. I'm not blind my man, there are waaay more poor white people in this country than there are poor black people.

Completely agree and not arguing. Unfortunately everything in our "justice" system race plays a major factor that's why I got a plea deal and only had to cop to 5 of the 62 felonies. If I was black that would have never happened.
Thanks for adding intelligently to this convo bro.

Its cool my man. I just received my license to practice law in California and I am volunteering for an organization that offers legal representation to those who can't afford it. So this topic resonates with me. I truly believe that the lack of legal representation is a major factor that leads to the disparity between the actual conviction rate between whites and minorities (to run it back to your class argument) .

Congratulations on getting your licence. From the way you post I'm sure you'll be successful, alot of lawyers look down on their clients. I can tell you treat everyone like a human, which means alot to a person who's going through the system and just wanna talk to somebody who gets it. After my OP the fact that you talk to me as a person and don't define me by drug use is a testament to that. Again congratulations ,:salute:

Crack makes you crave but you don't NEED it. Opiates you need to function. In any big city 5-8am is the time junkies cop cause they need it to go to work or whatever.
When you get high you escape and thus stop maturing emotionally so in some ways I stopes developing emotionally when I started to be 100% honest with you, so its a security blanket. I don't shoot up anymore and use very little. I'm not justifying my use but compared to where I was I'm OK with that. I just need to take the leap and get off em completely is all. Hope that answered what you wanted to know.

Edit: saw the last question. When I was strung out no I couldn't be productive, now when I get of work I burn a joint and snort about a quarter gram and chill. I don't run around doing shyt to get more or steal to afford it. If makes me feel good and costs 15$ a day. Yes I could out it twords better things and I'm sure I will in time. When I was strung out I was shooting 10x a day and my whole life revolves around it. Not justifying my use but there is a big difference to where I was. I'm sure soon I'll be able to stop totally, guess I'm to p*ssy to ATM to be honest

thanks for answering. Good luck when/if you try to quit.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
I feel you brother. I'm from jersey. All my friends are addicted to dope. Everyone started with pills but when bricks are 130/150 each, you move to heroin real quick.

I actually just caught a drug charge cause my friend left empty bags in my car. I'm an electrical engineer and shyt and I gotta deal with this shyt now. Luckily I have my PTI to fall back on. But the damage is done. My name in the paper like they found a boatload of drugs when they literally found nothing but empty bags.

The cops don't care. They tried to get me to snitch. Not on my dealer or whoever but my friends who were addicted. These people have problems and the cops keep following them to keep their stats up. I know a 20 year old who got popped 4x this year. They tried to get me cause I have homie a ride. I actually have to be careful who I drive with cause of this. I wasn't havin it wit those cop tho. Told the dts to get lost. Cops just want their overtime

For the record I live in ocean county Nj and it's primarily white. Dope is at epidemic levels here. My entire high school graduating class been to rehab for this shyt. With that said I'm trying to be a better man...

I'm not sure if I totally agree with you but race and class are very much interwined and the jail and legal system are used to supress both. Personally i think it race then class that determines your success or struggles. In other countries it is class then race but in both instances those two factors are very interwined. Not to take away from your experience.

You have probably heard this 1000 times but I strongly think you should stop using any substance all together. Honestly I was a terrible coper and dealt with negative situations poorly and it wasnt until something tragic happened that I realize I must learn to cope properly. Visit a university councilling service, they are cheap in comparison to other therapists. I went to a therapist to deal with a multitude of issues 4 years ago and it they do teach you how to cope and become more emotional mature.
