Nah how isn't it better than that?

More cohesive project overall, has the edge on production as well (Jay Dee's solo beats stood out the most but overall the Ummah as a unit held it down), the drums and the bass lines can't be denied:wow:

More Phife on that album, one could argue that he stole the show/reached his apex on that joint.

Word play, Phony rappers, 1nce again, jam, the hop, KIM, separate/together, stressed out>>>>>>>>>>>

Nope nope nope.

No chemistry. That's the main issue. The whole album feels like a chore because they clearly weren't enjoying recording it. For me, the magic of tribe comes in the chemistry and the joy and there's no joy in those last two albums which is why they suffer

It wasn't slept on. It was just an "aite" album. There were some good joints on there, but the production was real shaky on joints.

My favs were:
Find a way
Like it like dat
Against the world

The bonus disc was probably the best part to be honest.

How you leave off the two best jawns?

Pad & pen
The Love

Those songs are amazing.

Half of Love Movement was dope. It was just super clean. And the bad stuff (Da Booty, start it up) was kinda wack. And Q-Tip singing give me like a chipmunk was pretty bad.

But I play Love Movement A LOT.

Like I'd take Love Movement over GRODT, Blueprint, any of the post Illmatic Nas stuff, any Kanye album, anything Clipse related and so on and on.

Tribe doesn't even like The Love Movement
who said that?

at that Red Bull thing Tip basically said that people got it twisted because of the 'clean' image in the videos, and the cover. but he said that he likes that album, and still thinks it's dope

I think it's interesting that everyone loves Dilla, but seem to not like the stuff he did with Tribe/Tip
