Been listening to this for the past few days. Time will tell whether this will hold as a classic but I will say this is a GREAT body of work. As others have pointed out, this is a modernized Tribe sound that works. Tracks like Space Program, We The People, Dis Generation, captured that. After the disapointment of both the Love Movement and Beats, Rhymes, and Life, I'm glad this is the album that they gracefully bow out with.

This album is inexplicably great. It's like Mike Tyson coming back and winning the title in 2016...

My only complaint is Busta Rhymes. I love Bus and the songs with him on it are great. But I can tell he wasn't on his A game. He did his thing but Busta in his prime (like up until 2010) he wouldve stole the show...

BRL wasn't a bad album but living up to the expectations of the first three was impossible. I didn't care for the overall change in the production sound adding Dilla.

Album was still good, just not great. The lack of the jazz sampling and boom bap was obvious and hurt.

this is hard to decide album of the year when common just released such a solid 5/5 album !! just listened to this from front to back tho so gotta give it to the tribe ! just the little things like the same spacey sample played throughout and, the way the songs were edited in and out makes me think the fact it was a tribute to phife makes me think this is definately the one

still can't believe ppl slept so hard on the love movement

It wasn't slept on. It was just an "aite" album. There were some good joints on there, but the production was real shaky on joints.

My favs were:
Find a way
Like it like dat
Against the world

The bonus disc was probably the best part to be honest.

Word. Their last two joints aren't slept on at all. Just my up to par. They're not bad albums but you can tell something is off. And for me it's the lack of chemistry. The chemistry is back on this album and that makes all the difference in the world
