I'm saying breh. Not to sound :flabbynsick: but back in the 90's I'd catch the Troost bus out to Bannister Mall which was a 40+ minute ride in KCMO. So any new music I had, I could actually listen to the shyt. It's hard to find time to do that when you're an adult.

Fred.

:mjcry: them days when i could take the red or orange line into the city for work and make my way through 45 minutes of a new album. can barely sit still nowadays without needing to take care of something important.

:mjcry: PATH train to Manhattan on Saturday (or any night after 10pm) night means you gotta stop in Hoboken first, then loop back to 33rd (jersey nikkas know). You could damn-near make it through a whole album before you even hit the club.

:mjcry: miss them days breh... :flabbynsick:

TYRONE GA!
I copped it off Itunes like a week ago but a Tribe album....what is probably the last Tribe album....is not something I can listen to frivolously. Normally I throw on music when I'm cooking or doing whatever around the house but I'm not listening to this until I have a solid hour to really digest it.

Fred.

Aite, you scared me for a minute.... :leostare:

Not sure if posted but I just saw that this is charting number one and the entire tribe discography is gonna chart as well. :salute:well deserved

I picked this up, along with the remastered anniversary edition of Peoples Instinctive.....I am hoping the rest of Tribes discography gets remastered and re-released as well.

Finally listened to it. Said fukk it and put on some head phones while I played a game.

Album is really dope. Not as good as their first 3 but better than "Beats, Rhymes And Life" and "The Love Movement".

Favorite songs are "Space Program", "Ego", "Melatonin" and "Mobius".

Been listening to this nonstop since Friday Absolutely incredible from front to back. Even the one or two joints that don't hit me as hard are still good but I just need to be in the right mood for them.

It's a perfect tribe album in that it doesn't try to stick to any script. It's not stuck in the past but its not trying to conform to the present. It's just music. They're making what they love in the way that suits them It's both uplifting and sobering and of course bittersweet because we're not getting another one. Andre should step in and join the group but hey thats my opinion.

There's something magical about this album and it starts with space program. Easily my favorite album of the year and the best hip hop album since to pimp a butterfly. Tip continues to prove he should be in everyone's top 10.

Space Program, Mobius, Conrad Tokyo:wow:

very close to being 3rd best album for me behind low end theory and midnight marauders. maybe i'm just caught in the moment, but the maturity and consistency of this one just does it for me. especially in a era when no one else is dropping hip hop anywhere close to this. versus when people's came out they had the blueprint from jungle bros and de la to follow.

either way it's another bullet in the chamber and great bookend to the discography.

I'm thinking the same thing as far as putting it above people's instinctive. But it feels like blasphemy
